Built in 1979, the mid rise buildings of Kihei's Alii Kai Resort have four floors and elevators. Building D is the quietest.

Located just south of central Kihei, the condos here are about 125 yards from Kamaole I Beach Park. The largest and loveliest beach of the three Kamole parks with fine white sand and great swimming conditions. There's even a grassy area at the south end for picnics and playing. Life guards, beach volley ball, restrooms and more are found in this park.

The condominium has limited grounds, but does have a pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts, BBQ's and a sauna and is well located within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, beaches, and an Internet Cafe. Kihei Alii Kai is an excellent value for a basic property.

But don't tell the owners their spacious units are "basic properties". Some have really spent time and money updating their units. Granite counters, high end appliances and central A/C can be found here and the uninterrupted ocean views can't be beat. Watch for our STARFISH rating to find the best.

All units all have full kitchens, dishwasher, microwave, air conditioning, color cable TV, VCR, and a washer/dryer. Both Yahoo! Travel and Trip Advisor renters rate this property with 4-5 stars saying, "We were upgraded to the upper floor of the D building... Best views. This was a two-bedroom, one bathroom, fully equipped. The lanai was spacious. The cathedral ceiling made the place feel bigger than it was. The second "bedroom" was actually the loft, but the loft was nearly the size of the entire lower floor..." and.. "Cozy, homey environment, private lanais. The best part of the experience was the poolside grills".
